Cady Corman is a communications professional specializing in non-profit work. She currently uses her background in writing, design, and marketing as the communications coordinator and grant proposal writer for Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North.
Corman grew up on a farm near the small town of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, and moved to Vernon, BC in 2012. After graduating with honours from the Writing and Publishing Diploma program at Okanagan College, she moved to Campbell River and leveraged these skills doing contract work for both local and international businesses, specializing in website and email design and development.
What started as a three-month contract as grant writer for Habitat turned into a permanent position as communications coordinator. Since starting there and finding a passion for non-profits, she has studied fundraising and grant writing through BCIT and SFU.
Corman is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication through Royal Roads University, while continuing to work at Habitat.
